Subscription Cancellation
Creators may cancel their Folafy subscription at any time through the account billing settings. Upon cancellation:
• The subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
• No further automatic charges will be applied after the cancellation date.
• Creator features and storefront access will be reduced or removed at the end of the billing period.
• Annual subscribers who cancel mid-cycle are not entitled to a prorated refund for unused months, unless required by applicable law.
Subscription Refund Policy
Folafy's subscription fees are generally non-refundable once charged. Exceptions include:
• Technical Error Refunds: Where a billing error results in duplicate charges, Folafy will process a refund for the duplicate amount.
• New Subscription Refund Window: Users who subscribe for the first time and request a refund within [X] days of the initial charge may be eligible for a full refund at Folafy's discretion.
• Legally Required Refunds: Where applicable consumer protection law mandates a refund right, Folafy will comply.
Refund requests must be submitted to billing@folafy.com with relevant account and transaction details.
Creator Product Refund Responsibility
Folafy is a platform provider and is not the direct seller of Creator products. Refund obligations for Creator-sold digital products rest entirely with the Creator. Creators must:
• Establish and clearly display their own refund policy on their storefront prior to accepting sales.
• Process Buyer refund requests in accordance with their stated refund policy.
• Handle all customer communication regarding refund requests.
Where a Creator fails to honor a legitimate refund obligation and a Buyer escalates to Folafy, Folafy reserves the right to mediate and, where appropriate, facilitate a refund by deducting the corresponding amount from the Creator's platform balance.
Digital Product Refund Guidelines
Due to the nature of digital products (instant delivery, non-returnable), Creators are encouraged to adopt refund policies that account for:
• Change of mind: Generally not refundable for digital goods once downloaded.
• Product not as described: Refund appropriate where product materially differs from the listing.
• Technical delivery failure: Refund or re-delivery required where the product cannot be accessed or downloaded.
• Duplicate purchase: Refund appropriate for verified accidental duplicate purchases.
Chargeback Policy
Where a Buyer initiates a chargeback through their bank or payment provider, Folafy will:
• Place a hold on the disputed transaction amount from the Creator's balance.
• Cooperate with the payment provider's dispute resolution process.
• Deduct a chargeback processing fee from the Creator's account.
• Return the disputed amount to the Creator if the chargeback is resolved in the Creator's favor.
Creators with excessive chargeback rates may be subject to additional review, payout restrictions, or account suspension.
